Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Boone County, Arkansas. Day-to-day duties: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE 2+ years on the tools preferred.
