Slinger signaller — Madison County

Join our team: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Madison County, Idaho. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
