Urgent requirement: CO2 welder (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Borough of Oldham, England. You will work at a busy production line. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
