Skimming plasterer wanted in Amelia County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Amelia County, Virginia. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. What we are looking for: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents On the job you will handle: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork Full-time with occasional weekends.
