Now hiring: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Emmet County, Iowa. You will be based on a commercial fit-out project. On the job you will handle: • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
