Turning centre operator • Ohio County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Ohio County, Kentucky. You will be based in a tool room. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Full-time with occasional weekends.
