Immediate opening: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Borough of Wigan, England. You will work at a bathroom renovation job. On a typical shift you will fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
