Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Lamar County, Alabama. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
