You will check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper. What we are looking for: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
