Now hiring: road roller operator (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a road roller operator in Macon County, Alabama. You will work on a busy construction site. Day to day you will check for underground cables and services before digging; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; stockpile and spread material to the required levels. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Full-time with occasional weekends.
