Concrete shuttering carpenter wanted in Caroline County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Caroline County, Virginia. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules On the job you will handle: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) 6+ years on the tools preferred.
