Join our team: we are hiring a retail butcher in Oconto County, Wisconsin. You will work at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling You will mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking.
