Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Hillsdale County, Michigan. The role involves: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Rotating shifts.
