Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Dunukofia, Anambra State. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Your main tasks: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Pay around ₦280,000 per project, based on your experience.
