Finishing presser — Powell County

You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day-to-day duties: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
