Panel welder wanted in Lenoir County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Lenoir County, North Carolina. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
