Automotive refinish painter — Alfalfa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. The role involves compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch. What we are looking for: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
