Lift technician • Richmond County, North Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift technician in Richmond County, North Carolina. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. On the job you will handle: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
