Fabricator-welder — Slough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Slough, England. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
