Immediate opening: metal roofing fitter (South Dakota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Roberts County, South Dakota. You will be based on residential new-build sites. What we are looking for: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience Day to day you will carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
