Scaffold fitter • Union County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Union County, Iowa. You will work at a shipyard. Day-to-day duties: • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner Requirements: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage Rotating shifts.
