Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Rice County, Minnesota. The job is at a food processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Day to day you will measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
