Vacancy available: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Shelby County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy glazing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Day-to-day duties: • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts Rotating shifts.
