Site safety steward • Bee County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Bee County, Texas. You will work on a high-rise building project. On the job you will handle: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Six days a week, one day off. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
