Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Crittenden County, Arkansas. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight 2+ years on the tools preferred.
