The role involves fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; install toughened and laminated safety glass; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points. Requirements: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
