Gtaw welder • Rabah, Sokoto State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Rabah, Sokoto State. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Meals and transport allowance provided.
