Body shop technician — Butts County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a body shop technician in Butts County, Georgia. You will work at a paint and panel shop. On the job you will handle: • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains What we are looking for: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage 6+ years on the tools preferred.
