Finishing presser — Brown County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Brown County, Ohio. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day-to-day duties: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
