Slinger signaller — Nuckolls County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Nuckolls County, Nebraska. You will be based on a high-rise building site. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
