Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Platte County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
