Sample machinist • Clearwater County, Minnesota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Clearwater County, Minnesota. On a typical shift you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $8,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
