Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Carter County, Missouri. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; work out the load weight and the lifting radius.
