Vacancy available: stainless steel welder (South Dakota)

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Gregory County, South Dakota. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE The role involves carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
