Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Johnson County, Arkansas. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Six days a week, one day off.
