Sand plant operator • Costilla County, Colorado

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Costilla County, Colorado. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
