Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Lee County, Virginia. The job is in a busy paint shop. On the job you will handle: • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper Ideal candidate: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Willing to work shifts and overtime Full-time, day shift.
