Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Grand Isle County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Grand Isle County, Vermont. The job is at an automotive components factory. The role involves: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
