Urgent requirement: crawler dozer operator (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Barton County, Kansas. You will be based on a road construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear Requirements: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Full-time, day shift.
