Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Perry County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
