Fabricator-welder • Martin County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Martin County, Indiana. You will be based on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
