Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Hudspeth County, Texas. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day-to-day duties: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Full-time, day shift.
