Urgent requirement: milling machinist (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Hardeman County, Texas. You will be based in a toolroom. You will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
