Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot The role involves audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift.
