Great opportunity: argon welder (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Nicholas County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
