Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Green County, Kentucky. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Your main tasks: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Full-time with occasional weekends.
