Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Wayne County, Utah. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
