Immediate opening: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Rice County, Kansas. You will work at an industrial plant. You should have: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing On a typical shift you will lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters.
