Steel fixer • Carroll County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Carroll County, Mississippi. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
