Garment machinist • Ikwerre, Rivers State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Ikwerre, Rivers State. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Day-to-day duties: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Part-time with flexible hours.
